About the Role:

MPA Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to join a team in Braevalley on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and enjoys working as part of a team.

The position offers 30 hours per week over 4 days, working from 7:30am to 3:30pm, with a weekend rota of one weekend on and one weekend off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning of designated areas to a high standard.

• Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and well maintained.

• Clean and disinfect surfaces and facilities in line with required hygiene standards.

• Safely use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with training and health and safety procedures.

• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists as required.

• Ensure cleaning supplies are maintained and report when additional stock is required.

• Report any maintenance, safety or cleaning issues to the relevant supervisor or manager.

• Follow all relevant health and safety, hygiene and infection control procedures.

• Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• A reliable, hardworking and responsible approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Flexibility to work the required weekend rota.
• An Enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post
