Job description
MPA recruitment are working in partnership with a well known Nursery in the Finaghy area.
Duties
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
Requirements
- NVQ level 2 in childcare preferred BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Must have a full drivers licence and access to a car, as this role may involve pick ups from school
- At least 6 months working with children in a previous day care position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
The hours of work will be Mon-Fri between 9.30am-6pm and the salary will be between £11.50-£12.50ph depending on qualifications and experience.
There will be 15% staff discount for anyone who wants to place their own child in the Nursery facility to make it easier for candidates
