​Job Title: Health and Safety Administrator - 3565

On behalf of our Client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, MPA Recruitment welcomes suitable applications for the role of Health and Safety Administrator.

Location: Adelaide Street, Belfast

Hours of work: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 08.30am to 5pm) with 30min lunch.

Salary range: £11.98

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Assistant Director, Health & Safety Services, and the respective Senior Management Team.

• To co-ordinate the production and publishing of monthly Health & Safety Bulletins and associated promotional materials.

• To co-ordinate arrangements and facilitate monthly and quarterly meetings and to collate, update and distribute supporting documentation; and produce, update and record progress on associated action plans.

• To assist in the collation of information for the monthly, quarterly, and annual Health & Safety Services Reports.

• To collate required updates to monitor progress on the Annual Health & Safety Services Business Plan.

• To support in gathering and analysing information to assist in the preparation of all necessary reports, correspondence, and queries, as required.

• To assist in the production of relevant reports, presentations, letters, minutes, and action plans as required.

• Providing support for meetings, including scheduling meetings, sending MS Teams invites, booking rooms, taking and issue of minutes/actions.

• Administer the relevant Working Groups, Committees and other internal forums as required.

• Maintaining an organisational Incident Register (excel spreadsheet) and sending weekly / monthly summary reports of reported incidents.

Your Profile:

• BTEC National or equivalent, plus one year of relevant general administrative experience.

OR

• 5 GCSE or equivalent plus at least two years of relevant general administrative experience.

• Experience of use and application of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Additional Information:

• A Basic Access NI Check is Required at a cost of £16.
