Job Title: Health and Safety Administrator

On behalf of our Client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, MPA Recruitment welcomes suitable applications for the role of Health and Safety Administrator in the Belfast Area.

Location: Adelaide Street, Belfast

Hours of work: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)

Salary range: £13.26

 

Your Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Construction Health & Safety Services Team.
  • Arrange meetings and events, including sending invites, booking rooms, booking catering, attending to take minutes and recording actions, then issuing accordingly. (This will require travel to various NIHE offices.)
  • Assist with the organisation of the annual Contractor Event and Contractor Forum.
  • Compile and provide statistical data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Support the maintenance of an organisational Incident Register (Excel spreadsheet) and monitor a shared mailbox.
  • Co-ordinate and issue Safety Alert Notices (SANs).

Your Profile:

  • Hold a BTEC National or equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ, A-Levels) plus at least 1 year’s relevant general administrative experience.

OR

  • Have 5 GCSE “O” Levels or equivalent plus at least 2 years’ relevant general administrative experience.

Other:

  • Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience providing support for meetings, including taking and distributing minutes and recording actions.

Additional Information:

  • A Basic Access NI Check is Required at a cost of £16.
