About the Role:

On behalf of our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), MPA Recruitment is seeking to appoint a Leasehold Officer to join their team in Belfast.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator with strong communication skills and experience working with customers, information systems and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer queries, maintaining accurate records and providing a professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service, taking ownership of queries and complaints through to resolution.
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries accurately, professionally and within required timescales.
  • Investigate queries and take appropriate action to achieve positive outcomes.

Administration & Information Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across relevant systems.
  • Ensure records are maintained in line with organisational procedures and information governance requirements.
  • Support the implementation of organisational policies, procedures and frameworks.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective delivery of services.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Criteria:

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • BTEC Higher qualification or equivalent, plus at least 1 year's relevant general administrative experience.
  • OR
  • BTEC National qualification or equivalent, plus at least 2 years' relevant general administrative experience.

Relevant administrative experience must:

  • Have been gained within an office-based environment; and
  • Include either investigatory responsibility, customer care responsibility, or experience using and maintaining information systems.

In addition, applicants should demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise customer queries effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.

  • A Basic Access NI Check is Required at a cost of £16.
