About the Role:

MPA are recruiting a Band 3 Administrative Officer to provide vital administrative support within Community Wheelchair Service (CWS) warehouse based in Lisburn. You will play a key role in supporting Senior Management and the CWS team. Duties include general administration and providing value for money, customer support service to HSCNI customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update records using multiple IT systems, to support the Community Wheelchair Service.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure customer and equipment information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate wheelchair deliveries, collections, and returns with transport departments and service users.
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling enquiries, requests, and complaints via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Prepare collection documentation and proactively manage the return and crediting of community wheelchair equipment.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure all requisitions, delivery notes, collection records, and associated paperwork are completed daily.
  • Record and update stock movements, equipment returns, goods received notes, and customer care reports on relevant databases and systems.
  • Support stock management activities, including stock counts, catalogue maintenance, order expediting, and inventory reviews.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to management, ensuring the efficient delivery of Community Equipment and Continence Services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English Language)
  • 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel and Outlook or similar.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to meet the needs of the service.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
