Warehouse Operatives

Location: Moneyreagh
Hours: Full-Time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:15pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Contract:Temporary

About the Role:

MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting 6 Warehouse Operatives to join a growing warehouse and fulfilment operation based in Moneyreagh.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and expanding operation, working within a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting the fulfilment and dispatch of customer orders.

The positions will initially be offered on a temporary basis, supporting the operation during a period of continued growth.

Successful candidates will be involved across a range of warehouse activities including receiving stock, picking and packing orders, stock control, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately receive and book goods into the warehouse
• Pick inventory and customer orders
• Pack orders accurately and prepare them for dispatch
• Assemble boxes and other packaging as required
• Label products and completed orders
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts
• Support stock movement and organisation within the warehouse
• Carry out general warehouse and fulfilment duties
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Follow warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements
• Work effectively as part of the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets 
• Follow company policies, procedures and relevant operational standards.
• Participate in training for new equipment, systems and working practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment would be advantageous but is not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently when required
• Basic IT skills and confidence learning warehouse systems and handheld scanners
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of warehouse duties
• Ability to carry out the physical requirements associated with a warehouse role
• Availability to work full-time
