Specialist Physiotherapist, Respiratory

Belfast City Hospital | £19.78 per hour | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist to work with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, based at Belfast City Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist respiratory team, supporting patients with a range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD, bronchiectasis and palliative care needs.

The assignment is expected to run until March 2027, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.

• Manage your own patient caseload, working independently.

• Support patients with respiratory conditions and rehabilitation needs.

• Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation and oxygen assessment clinics.

• Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.

• Provide advice, support and guidance to patients and colleagues.

• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development.

Essential Criteria

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).

• Current HCPC registration.

• At least 3 years' post-registration experience.

• Experience working with adults and/or paediatric patients, including respiratory care and rehabilitation.

• Experience treating patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

• Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
