Specialist Physiotherapist in Palliative Care

£19.78 per hour | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | Long-Term Leave Cover

MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting a Specialist Palliative Care Physiotherapist to work with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established community-based palliative care team, supporting patients with complex needs, including those receiving oncology and palliative care. The role is based at Belfast City Hospital, with travel required across the Trust to provide community-based care.

This position is to cover long-term leave and offers the opportunity to make a real difference to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.

• Support patients to maintain mobility, independence and quality of life.

• Provide rehabilitation and therapy support to patients receiving palliative and oncology care.

• Offer advice and support to patients, carers and families.

• Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.

• Manage your own caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.

Essential Criteria

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.

• Current HCPC registration.

• Relevant post-registration physiotherapy experience, including rehabilitation.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car, or suitable alternative transport.
