MPA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing permanent recruitment division.

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in permanent recruitment who thrives in a target-driven environment and is motivated by achieving and exceeding personal and team goals.

This position offers autonomy to develop and grow a permanent recruitment desk aligned to your experience, network and market expertise. Whether your background is within professional services, commercial, technical or another sector, we are open to investing in opportunities that present the greatest potential for growth and long-term success.

The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of a general permanent recruitment desk, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to successful placement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, networking and relationship building.
  • Managing and growing existing client accounts to maximise opportunities and repeat business.
  • Delivering a full 360-degree recruitment service, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting and offer management.
  • Take ownership of desk performance, consistently achieving or exceeding monthly billing targets, business development objectives and agreed performance measures.
  • Take ownership of an active vacancy and candidate pipeline, proactively developing both to ensure pipeline volumes remain above agreed thresholds and support the consistent achievement of monthly billing targets.
  • Managing multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and activity levels within the CRM system.
  • Representing MPA Recruitment professionally and acting as a trusted recruitment partner to clients and candidates.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working within a permanent recruitment environment.
  • Demonstrable experience operating a 360-degree recruitment desk.
  • A strong track record in business development and client acquisition.
  • Experience managing an active candidate and vacancy pipeline.
  • The ability to work at pace, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and resilient approach with a passion for delivering excellent outcomes.
