MPA recruitment welcome suitable applications for the role of Healthcare Recruitment Consultant, based in our Ballymena branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will work within a well-established thriving recruitment team delivering the highest standards in customer care to both our clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- 360-degree recruitment of healthcare agency workers including candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing
- Completing pre-employment checks in accordance with MPA standard operating procedures such as reference checks, Access NI’s, NISCC/NMC etc.
- Ensure a suitable pool of candidates is available to fill vacancies and/or bookings.
- Respond to client requests as outlined within the organisation’s framework.
- Manage potential business opportunities including leads and referrals and to promote the full healthcare recruitment services offered by the company.
- Generate new business through telephone and face to face sales activity.
- Day to day performance management of agency staff, proactively seeking feedback on performance, coaching, and supporting staff in their various placements.
- Work towards team targets set.
- Participate in marketing events including attendance at various recruitment fairs.
- Participate in the on-call service, rota based within the team (This is paid at an additional rate).
Key Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 years proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles, ideally within a fast-paced environment
- Passion to succeed and be part of a high performing team
- Comfortable contributing within a fast-paced target driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong administration skills
- Strong team working skills with a growth mindset to develop a long-lasting career
