MPA has been appointed by one of the fastest growing and leading Digital Health organisations in North America to source a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their growing team on a remote basis. You will be joining an organisation that has grown significantly in recent years to become a leader within the Digital Health sector by bringing much-needed innovation to the stagnant health care industry.
The Cloud Platform Team ensures that all systems are monitored, reliable and meet their uptime targets. Much of the work focuses on optimizing existing systems, building new components and automating manual processes.
You will:
Help manage, monitor and improve existing infrastructure and related tools
Participate in technical design and planning discussions
Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance
Support release processes
Automate manual work
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
About You
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' Cloud engineer experience and must be a US citizen and be willing to undergo criminal/background checks in the United States.
You know how to write high-quality and testable code in Python, Go, Ruby, or other languages
You have experience with writing shell scripts
You have an understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
You have experience with cloud platforms: GCP/AWS/Azure
You have experience with configuration management/infrastructure as code tools like: terraform, ansible, puppet, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
You have experience with DCP, EKS, Docker
You have experience working with Git/Github and CI/CD systems
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals: filesystems, networking is a plus!
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting systems is a plus!
Experience with SQL/NoSQL Databases is a plus!
Experience with container orchestration systems is a plus!
Salary range : $100,000 - $145,000
