Our client, a leading business membership and economic development organisation, is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Member Relations & Business Development Executive to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and engaging with organisations across the region.

The Role

You will be responsible for growing membership, generating advertising and sponsorship revenue, and maintaining strong relationships with members and corporate partners. Acting as a key ambassador for the organisation, you will identify new opportunities, deliver presentations, attend networking events, and ensure an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive membership growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Generate and convert new business leads.
  • Build strong relationships with members, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Sell advertising, promotional, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations and promote member services.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales pipelines.
  • Support member retention and engagement activities.
  • Represent the organisation at business and networking events.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills
  •  Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability
  •  Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport
