Domestic Cleaner

MPA Recruitment Belfast is delighted to be partnering with our client to recruit a Domestic Cleaner for their facility based at Carrick Health Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join a professional healthcare environment, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for staff, patients, and visitors.

Location: Carrick Health Centre
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Maintain designated work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean interior surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
• Ensure all floor coverings are cleaned and maintained appropriately.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked cleaning cupboard.
• Follow cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the line manager.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and infection control standards.

Essential Criteria

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and site users.
• Capable of working independently and using initiative.
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous cleaning experience within a healthcare, commercial, or similar environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety practices would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.
