MPA Recruitment is recruiting experienced Cooks to work within nursing homes across Ballymena, Larne, Antrim and Whiteabbey.

You will prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary requirements, maintain food safety standards and keep accurate kitchen records. Weekday and weekend shifts are available, allowing you to choose the work that suits your schedule.

What You Will Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with planned menus
• Catering for allergies, modified diets and individual dietary requirements
• Ensuring meals are prepared and served safely and on time
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Monitoring and recording food temperatures
• Completing kitchen documentation and food safety records
• Managing food preparation and portion control
• Working with nursing home staff to provide a high quality meal service

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Cook
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Ability to prepare and cook meals independently
• Understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced Access NI check
• Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage
