Job Role: Chef De Partie X2

MPA Belfast are pleased to be teaming up with our client in Belfast recruiting for 2 Chef De Parties.

Our client is a prestigious family run restaurant with high ambitions for the future. They are group of friendly, hard-working people who are passionate about their customers and providing a first-class service to ensure the customers experience in their restaurant is one not to forget.

They are looking for people who has drive and ambition, someone that’s talent will be nurtured by the head chef who will support you fully in your role in the restaurant.

This is a vibrant licensed restaurant in the prime location of Belfast City Centre. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering customers a warm friendly place to dine and meet friends or family in style.

Shift Pattern and information:

  • Candidates must be available to cover all days
  • 35 - 45 hours per week
  • Temporary cover options also available (your availability can be discussed)

Pay Rate

  • £24,000 - £28,080 (Permanent Positions)
  • £11.50ph - £13.50ph (Temporary ad-hoc shifts)

The Job Role

  • The Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within a specialist area.
  • They will also be required to adhere to all relevant legislative guidelines regarding food safety standards, including HACCP and COSHH.

Essential Criteria

  • Food qualification (level 2 or above)
  • Positive mindset, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn
  • A genuine interest and love of food
  • At least two years’ experience working as a commis chef in a similar environment
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK in line with UK Legislation
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and bank holiday

Desirable Criteria

  • One years’ experience working in a similar role as Chef de Partie
  • Food safety certificate (level 3 or above)
  • First Aid Certificate/Appointed Persons Certificate
  • Pastry skills
