MPA are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Team Leader to join our team in the Coleraine Area. The successful candidate will assist in the supervision of the catering team within a hospital setting. The role will have an immediate start available and a pay rate of £12.71 - £23.26 depending on shift worked.

Job Duties

• To ensure completion of hygiene records and documents as per HACCP. (Hazards Analysis critical control)
• To ensure staff maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of all catering areas.
• To support and assist as required in preparation and service of food and beverages for staff, patient's visitors and hospitality functions.
• To ensure food regeneration and service to patients and staff is carried out to the required standard.
• Assist with the management of stock; ordering, receipt, rotation, storage, stocking up and stock taking as required.
• Supporting staff in the operational use of all catering equipment.
• Ensure processes are followed for wash-up of all equipment, machinery, crockery and cutlery associated with the catering service.
• To monitor and support staff with appropriate disposal of refuse.
• Report maintenance issues, machinery breakdown and pest sightings immediately
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are adhered to.
• To support with the creation of work schedules and standard operation procedures as required.
• To carry out service audits, patient and customer surveys in all areas periodically.

Essential Criteria

· Needs experience in catering.

· Must have managed/supervised in a kitchen setting

· Shifts include but are not limited to; 7am – 2pm & 11am - 7pm
