Location: BCH- Lisburn Road
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: £15.88
Contract: Temporary


About the Role:

MPA Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for a Transformation Programme Support Officer – Pathology Blueprint Programme.

The post holder will be a key member of the Pathology Blueprint Programme Team, with responsibility for supporting the identification, development, management and implementation of key activities to deliver pathology transformation projects within the Blueprint Programme. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, high-quality project and information management support to the Blueprint Programme.
    Participate in projects and undertake project support activities to deliver design and transition plan improvements and inform project development, delivery and transfer to the proposed HSC Pathology Agency.  
  • Establish and implement systems and processes to support design and transition planning and project delivery. 
  • Organise and service a range of meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders, including preparing papers and reports, agendas, taking minutes and following up actions. 
  • Develop and maintain project management plans, reports and other project documentation in line with required standards, ensuring timely updating and effective version control. 
  • Contribute to the development of business cases.
  • Assist with, and lead as required, the implementation of new ways of working as part of the transfer to the proposed HSC Pathology Agency.
  • Contribute to, and lead as required, the development of policies and standard operational procedures (SOPs) to support transfer to the proposed HSC Pathology Agency. 
  • Undertake stakeholder surveys, monitoring and lessons learnt reports as required.  

What We’re Looking For:

A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification AND 1 years’ experience in a business/project administration role at Band 4 level or equivalent; 

OR 

A relevant diploma or equivalent qualification AND 2 years’ experience in a business/project administration role at Band 4 level or equivalent; 

OR 

At least 5 years’ business/project administration experience including 2 years’ experience at Band 4 level or equivalent.

Working experience in the use of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Demonstrate evidence of excellent communication (both orally and in writing) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. 

Demonstrate evidence of excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight timescales.

Demonstrate experience of analysing data and presenting information in a variety of formats.  

Demonstrate experience of successfully working autonomously/on own initiative and of independent problem solving.
