X2 BAND 5 Children's Residential Support Workers Required in Belfast!
As a contracted supplier to our public sector client, MPA recruitment are recruitingtwo Band 5 Residential Support Workers for Children’s homesbased in Belfast Area. These roles involve working with children both male and female aged 8-18 years old that have learning disability, complex needs, and mental ill health.
The Role
Pay Rate:£13.84-22.14 per hour shift dependent.
Hours of Work:37.5 hours per week across a Monday- Sunday Rota including days, nights, evenings and weekends.
Work with children, young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcomes.
Work in partnership with parents/carers to empower them and to enable them to achieve better outcomes for their children.
Liaise with children’s services, health agencies and other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for children’s young people and families.
Responsibility for the more complex cases/situations presenting within the service.
Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Responsible for the management of own workload.
The Person
Third level education
Have at least 1 year’s previous experience working in a children's residential setting
Be NISCC registered
Must complete an enhanced Access NI check
Administration of medications
