Ready Mix Concrete Drivers Wanted

Job Type: Full-Time- Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13/15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 07;00-17;30.

We are looking for experienced and reliable Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Drivers to join our growing team.

The Role

As a Ready Mix Concrete Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mixed concrete to customers and construction sites. You will operate a mixer truck, ensure loads are delivered on time, and provide a professional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Ready-Mix Concrete mixer truck.
• Deliver concrete to construction sites and customer locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all road safety, health & safety and site procedures.
• Ensure concrete is delivered and discharged correctly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Always provide excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous concrete mixer / Ready Mix experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of road and site safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Professional attitude with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Newly qualified HGV drivers with the right attitude may also be considered.
