About the Role:

MPA Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and experienced Cleaners for roles across Health and Social Care settings in Northern Ireland, including hospitals, health centres, residential facilities and community services. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. Your work will support infection prevention and control and the day-to-day delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and public areas.
• Ensure infection control policies are followed at all times.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and clinical equipment as required.
• Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with training and Trust guidelines.
• Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with health and safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls.
• Follow schedules and checklists, completing cleaning records as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare, commercial, or public setting
• Knowledge of COSHH and infection control procedures (training can be provided)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility with shifts and locations, if needed
• An Enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post
