Chefs and Catering Assistants in the Belfast Area

MPA are excited to be recruiting for Chefs and Catering Assistants for our clients in the homeless sector of Belfast.
Pay Rate: Chefs range from £13.50 to £15 per hour. Catering Assistants will be £10.80. (This is due to go up with the minimum wage increase in April.)
Shift Patterns: Work as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
You will assist with hygienic and economic preparation of food. Maintain clean and hygienic catering facilities, complying with health and safety requirements in the kitchen and other catering areas. Clean and wash-up in all areas of the catering service, and complete ancillary duties associated with the catering facilities as requested by the Supervisor. Assist with deliveries – storing everything in compliance with health and safety standards. You will also serve food to the clients from a counter.
Essential Criteria:
· Food and Hygiene Certificate
· GCSE Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
· Experience in catering and foods service.
· Must complete Enhanced Access NI check.
