MPA Ballymena are recruiting a Catering Assistant on behalf of our client based in the Ballymena Area

The successful candidate will assist in the provision of Catering Services within a hospital setting to the highest standard.

Hours and Pay

• Monday - Sunday 32.5 hours a week
• £12.71
• Weekly Pay
• Holiday Fund
• Pension

Duties will include:

• Responsible for the general cleaning duties in the kitchen, canteen and associated areas.
• Assist with food service and plate food to clients and staff and to replenish food supplies, as necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of vegetables, fruits, salads, and beverages in accordance with departmental food safety procedures.
• Ensure the correct food safety procedures are followed regarding receipt, storage, regeneration, and temperature control of all meals (including cook/freeze or cook/chill).

Criteria

• Experience in catering duties is desired but not essential.
• Certificate in Basic Food Hygiene or be prepared to complete this course and obtain this qualification
