MPA Ballymena are currently working alongside NHSCT to recruit a Band 4 Building Craft Operative (Joiner)
The post holder will be a member of the Estate Services Department in either Antrim Hospital, Holywell Hospital or Braid Valley Hospital
You will be responsible for the provision of joinery services, including the transportation of materials and equipment.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities
Maintenance and standards of each named setting
Carry out their duties and responsibilities in a manner which assures patient and client safety
Carry out their duties and responsibilities in compliance with health and safety policy and statutory regulations
Qualifications / Experience Required
Applicants must possess a recognised and registered building CITB apprenticeship
Plus
4 years post apprenticeship experience spent on the maintenance of complex buildings (Certified on the Construction Skills Register or other approved technical qualification)
Essential
Good understanding of the inter-relationships between the various maintenance crafts.
Hold a current drivers licence and have access to a car
Knowledge of building maintenance
Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work.
Hours and Pay
37.5 hours per week (overtime available)
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
£12.86-£20.58 -Weekly Pay
