• Hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Dietitian to join a well-established Community Diabetes Team based at Knockbreda Health & Wellbeing Centre, Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Dietitian with a strong background in diabetes management to work within a supportive multidisciplinary community setting, delivering high-quality patient-centred care.

The Role

As a Band 6 Dietitian, you will:

• Provide specialist dietary advice and support to patients with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes
• Deliver structured education, lifestyle interventions and nutritional assessments
• Work closely with the wider MDT including diabetes specialist nurses, consultants, and other allied health professionals
• Support patients in managing weight, blood glucose control, cardiovascular risk and medication-related dietary needs
• Contribute to service development and audit work where required

Essential Criteria

• HCPC registered Dietitian
• Proven experience working with diabetes patients (community or acute)
• Ability to work independently and as part of an MDT
•  trong communication and patient education skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
