Due to the increased demands across Children & Family Services we are recruiting Band 4 Social work Assistants across all the Belfast Area.
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Various sites across Belfast
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour & £0.56 per mile
What does the job in involve?
As a Social work Assistant, you will play a very important role working alongside a team of social workers and liaising with a range of professional bodies to assist with advising families facing short- or long-term challenges and working alongside children who are referred to the looked after children’s team.
Your focus will be on supporting service users and empowering them to overcome difficulties within their family dynamics. You’ll work closely with families, assess their needs, and provide support where required.
Do you meet the criteria?
•6 months in a similar role within the UK
•Registered with NISSC.
•A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
•Willingness to do mandatory inhouse training.
•Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly.
