MPA has been retained by the leading digital asset trading firm in Canada to recruit a Senior Account Manager to join their team in Toronto. You will be joining an organization fueled by a dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate individuals. As a Sr. Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in propelling their trading desk to new heights. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this position offers an ideal opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives on both support and autonomy. Key Accountabilities:

  • Build sales pipelines through a mix of prospecting, attending meetings and events, making calls, and sending emails

  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients for the Capital Markets Wealth division

  • Scout and evaluate new business opportunities within the industry, while also cultivating potential client relationships

  • Deeply understand their products to effectively communicate their value to prospective clients

  • Listen closely to clients' needs, understand their challenges, and propose solutions that address those needs directly

  • Craft and present sales pitches

  • Test different messaging and outreach strategies, analyzing their effectiveness and tweaking your approach for better results

  • Ensure sales data is up-to-date and accurately forecasted in the CRM, providing insights and analysis to optimize sales efforts

  • Work closely with Marketing and Client Success teams to ensure a unified approach across the company

Qualifications

  • A proven track record in meeting sales quotas and successfully closing deals with hedge funds, FinTech, family offices, and high net worth individuals

  • A strategic and persistent mindset, coupled with the drive and enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced company

  • Experience with the crypto, and fx markets (equities is a plus)

  • A proactive, change-embracing attitude, capable of quickly adapting to new situations

  • An investment representative (“IR”) or registered representative (“RR”) is a must

  • Canandian Securities Course (“CSC”), Canadian Practices handbook (“CPH”)

  • Familiarity with Broker-Dealer regulations
