Finance Manager

​MPA Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager on a permanent basis for our client in the Magherafelt area. The successful candidate will report to the company directors and will be responsible for the companies Accounting and Finance function.

Job Duties

 

·         Manage & lead the finance team, with responsibility for all aspects of the finance function (to include management information, payroll, VAT and HMRC processes).

 

·         Prepare accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly management information for directors/senior team to include Profit & Loss, Cash Flow’s and Balance Sheets

 

·         Preparation of Budgeting and Forecasting figures, monitoring performance, and identifying areas for improvement

 

·         Ongoing monitoring of Management Information to identify areas for improvement / presenting findings to the senior management team.

 

·         Manage all aspects of the companies Working Capital Cycle

 

·         Primary point of contact for the companies banking partner – to include being responsible for ensuring adequate credit facilities in place, cash reserves generating satisfactory return, working capital & borrowing costs minimised, and strong/stable relationship maintained.

 

·         Drive continuous improvement of internal end-to-end accounting practices and be primary point of contact for external partners (auditors, finance partners).

 

Essential Criteria

 

·         Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical knowledge

 

·         Track record in a senior finance role.

 

·         Strong interpersonal skills

 

·         Experience with SAGE, Excel, Cash Flow modelling & statutory accounts.

 

·         Experience preparing budgets up to multi-millions and running annual audit.

 

·         Experience managing people and demonstrated ability to delegate / manage the work of others.

 

Further Information

·         37.5 hours per week

·         Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

·         Permanent Contract

·         Salary will be negotiable depending on experience of any suitable candidate
