MPA Healthcare are recruiting for Support workers .This role will be within Supported Living Schemes, Housing with Care Facilities and various other settings in the Derry/Londonderry , Strabane and Limavady areas.
Job Role:
Assist in ensuring the well-being of service users by providing a comfortable, safe and healthy environment.
Provide supervision and maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of service users at all times.
Assist in the provision and monitoring of group activities aimed at engaging service users.
Create detailed shift reports using database programmes.
Escalate issues to senior staff member in charge and document incidents in accordance with local policy.
Essential Criteria:
Recent experience in a formal Healthcare / Support role.
Willing to undertake an enhanced disclosure.
Flexible with good communication.
Must be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) or be willing to process registration.
