Assist in ensuring the well-being of service users by providing a comfortable, safe and healthy environment and in the promotion of the service to visitors, friends and in the community.
Provide supervision and maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of service users at all times.
Create detailed shift reports using database programmes.
Escalate issues to senior staff member in charge and document incidents in accordance with local policy.
Enhanced disclosure required
Minimum 6 months experience in a formal adult social care setting (Supported Living, Residential Unit, Housing scheme, Home care, agency, etc...) is essential
Attention to detail and proficient in report writing/handovers
Flexible with good communication
Training in/experience of working in learning disabilities, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviour environment
