We’re on the lookout for full time or part time Support Workers to join our team in Belfast, Newtownabbey and surrounding areas.

Successful staff will provide support for independent living services for people with intellectual disabilities. We offering full-time hours for day shifts on a rotational basis, to include weekend cover also (with enhanced pay rates!)

The Person:

• 6 months minimum paid experience working within a similar role
• Compassionate, patient, and have excellent communication skills
• A desire to help others thrive and overcome challenges
• Registered with NISCC
• Willingness to do mandatory training courses
• Must complete Enhanced Access NI check

The Role:

• Providing tailored emotional and practical support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Assisting with all aspects of promoting independent living to assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
• Collaborating with the care team to develop and follow personalised support plans
• Offering occasional night support to ensure continuous care only when required
