SOFTWARE ESTIMATOR
DERRY/ LONDONDERRY
£30,000 - £35,000 SALARY
Our client is a large specialist manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Derry City. Due to continued expansion of their organisation, we are sourcing an experienced Software Estimator to join their team with an immediate start.
Reporting to the Department Manager, your role will be comprised of but not limited to the following tasks:
- Preparation of quotations and proposal documents for software systems.
- Using project documentation and liaising with clients via phone calls, video conferences, internal meetings, and occasional onsite meetings to help in the design process of projects and help guide clients to determine project specific needs.
- Support of UK sales team through the creation of quotes and technical submittals.
- Creation of system network diagrams to offer a visual representation of solutions being offered.
- Support department Project Managers in the quotation of required hardware / software / labour for project variations
- Sourcing of new hardware to meet potential unforeseen client requirements within allocated budgets
- Negotiation with suppliers to achieve improved discount rates on procured hardware and software
- Keep up to date in current industry advancements in hardware and software, ensuring our client are always offering the most advanced and high quality solutions available on the market.
CRITERIA:
- Business / Finance related degree with 1 years’ relevant post qualification experience
DESIRABLE:
- Quotation / Estimating Experience
- Software knowledge / Microsoft Visio
