£30,000 to £40,000 Per Annum
MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a leading Technical Consulting and Engineering firm to source a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their team. This is a diverse role with the opportunity to work across a variety of projects including major infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on the water, highways, energy and rail sectors.
You will be joining a wider consulting team, collaborating with colleagues across the UK and further afield. There may be travel from time to time as projects require to provide innovative solutions to complex major project delivery.
You will have significant environmental consultancy background across multi-disciplinary projects and experience as a project team leader. You will have substantial experience of drafting Environmental Statements, managing the preparation of specialist topic chapters and liaising with clients / designers. You will have a strong track record of working with designers on large infrastructure projects, particularly within the water, energy and transport sectors with the ability to advise contractors during construction.
You will hold a Degree and/or Masters in an Environmental related topic; be a full member of Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (or equivalent); and be a Chartered Environmentalist or equivalent. It is desirable that you would have coaching and team development skills; experience of Hydrology / Flood Risk assessments; be a CEEQUAL / BREEAM assessor; have expert witness experience; but these are not essential to be successful.
