The Senior DevOps Engineer is a leader and role-model in terms of professionalism, technical execution and depth of knowledge. Responsibilities
Drive roadmap priorities based on long-term business strategy objectives
Take proactive action to maintain services levels within defined target values
Meet or exceed Healthcare standards in the protection of medical data
Empower and amaze developers with workflow automation
Support and optimize the delivery of service to customers and Partners
Succeed as a team by investing in others
Participate in the continuous improvement of company and/or team processes
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, or equivalent education/program
4+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering role
Ability to code in a high-level programming language (e.g. Go, Ruby, Java, Python)
Experience leading the design and review of infrastructure architecture changes
Experience deploying and monitoring a mission-critical production system at scale
Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms
Experience writing maintainable Infrastructure-as-Code
Experience administering Linux servers and integrating open source packages
Experience building CI/CD for developer workflow automation
Experience providing on-call support for incident management, maintenance and troubleshooting
Nice to Have:
An understanding of the OSI Model for Layered Network Architecture
Experience configuring secure networks (subnets, NAT, gateways, VPNs, TLS, etc)
Experience developing and deploying Ruby and/or Node applications
Experience with the following technologies:
Terraform
Helm
Ansible
Docker
Istio
Prometheus
Grafana
Sumo Logic
Postgres
Kafka
Git, Gitlab CI/CD and Runners
Healthcare industry experience
