MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a market leading engineering business to source a Sales Manager to join their team in France. This role has come about through their significant international growth over the past decade and the ambition to further this across Europe.
You will be joining a business operating globally to serve clients in large scale industrial and commercial markets. The France based Sales Manager will work remotely, supported by the sales team in the UK and Ireland, and contributing as a key member of the global sales team. Primarily covering the French market, with broader European focus when required, you will concentrate on the sales and marketing of the full product portfolio, in combination with the company’s overall European and Global sales strategy.
You will be responsible for increasing sales revenue from existing clients and actively pursue new clients; successfully meeting ambitious sales targets and achieve year on year growth; increasing market presence by developing long-lasting customer relationships; identifying market shifts while staying aware of competitors’ status within the market. You will negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions, supported by the estimating team; provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education; and support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other relevant events.
You will have at least 4 years’ previous experience as a sales manager and a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successful territory development. You will have a thorough knowledge of the engineering market and the procurement procedures within the industry; exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills; and be capable of driving business forward in a competitive marketplace and demonstrating a solid pipeline. You will be able to demonstrate sales strategies and deliver results on tight deadlines.
