Regional Sales Director, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

MPA Recruitment are currently hiring a Regional Sales Director on behalf of a leading international Engineering firm to be based in their office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the regional sales plans in alignment with the overall strategic plan for Saudi Arabia & Lebanon.

You will be responsible for providing strategy & focus to the regional sales force to deliver the business plan and take ownership of sales planning, sales strategy and sales activity consistent with Sales Management Disciplines. You will perform analysis on market opportunities to develop and implement strategies to maximize margins and increase market penetration across Europe/Africa.  You will make sure to develop and maintain senior level relationships with customers and partners in order to maintain connection with local market issues.

You will be an ambassador in displaying sales management behaviour consistent with Sales Management Disciplines. You will set standards for sales performance and productivity; ensure the development of sales personnel through coaching and performance assessment; develop and coach the region on established business processes, tools, technologies and standards.  You will provide consistent level of sales management coaching to Regional Sales Managers to include: monthly one-on-one(s), pipeline and key opportunity reviews.

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing with a Master's degree being beneficial but not essential.  You will have a minimum of 18 years of progressive experience and proven sales ability in the sale of technical systems. You will also have at least 5 years experience in a management role with responsibility for the productivity or development of others.  Previous experience managing a sales management organization preferred.
