£16.04 to £32.08 Per Hour
The postholder is required to perform a range of Specialised Diagnostic Procedures, whilst participating in the Radiography Shift Rota. They will supervise, mentor and train any band 5 Radiographers, supervise assistant practitioners, radiography assistants and student radiographers, ensuring a high standard of Diagnostic Imaging is maintained for Southern Trust patients. They will be required to work unsupervised, during normal working hours and out of hours, producing high quality images.
Qualifications/ Registration & Experience
Hold a Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc Radiography, or equivalent / higher qualification
Have 18 months’ post graduate experience in diagnostic radiography
Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration or be eligible for registration.
Demonstrate evidence of having undertaken Continuing Professional Development and be willing to undertake further training.
Hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post

Ability to supervise Band 5 Radiographers, students and assistants.
