MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a leading Engineering firm to source a Project Manager to join their team. This is a significant organisation which is a true success story in the North West and is continuing to grow; this is a new role within the team representing this ongoing investment in the business.
Your will manage a team of System Engineers responsible for the preparation of detailed Functional Design Specifications and Testing Documentation; the development of detailed software code for automation, control and data acquisition applications; and the development of graphical user interface graphics.
You will hold an HND or degree in Electrical Engineering / Computing or similar and have management / supervisory experience working in a similar role. You should have a knowledge across a range of hardware and software PLC systems and an adaptability to be able to prioritise tasks. It would be beneficial if you are familiar with IEC 1131 and have SQL database experience.
You will receive a competitive salary as well as a full benefits package including a profit-share bonus scheme. There will be occasional travel to client sites where you will be further reimbursed with overtime and site rates.
