What the role entails:
To manage a complex caseload assessing and treating adults and setting a high standard of care, using safe, effective and appropriate techniquesTo record assessments, treatment plans and the outcome of all interventions and collect data as required by the Physiotherapy Service Intermediate Care Service and the TrustTo be aware of and implement professional best practice in adherence to Clinical Governance requirementsTo participate in quality improvements through evaluation of practice and Clinical Audit, and in the yearly Staff AppraisalTo ensure that equipment used by the Physiotherapy service properly maintained at all timesResponsible for the management of own workload
Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalentRegistered with the Health Professions Council as a physiotherapist2 years post registration experienceMinimum of 6 months clinical experience at Senior 2 or equivalent band level within the medical/ surgical/elderly/fracture/orthopedic rehabilitation settingKnowledge of managing patients with a variety of conditions and complex needsLegally entitled to live and work in the UK
