MPA Recruitment Armagh is working on behalf of our major clients within the healthcare industry to recruit Band 5 Physiotherapists for the Craigavon/Banbridge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide quality physiotherapy service within programmes of care to meet each individual patient’s specific needs across the Trust supporting the clinical teams.
Perform physiotherapeutic assessments of patients with diverse presentations and a range of physical, psychological and social conditions and determine accurate clinical diagnosis of patients. Undertake assessment, diagnosis and formulation of the physiotherapy aspect of treatment plans.
Hold responsibility for own caseload and work with regular supervision.Supervision takes the form of regular review of work and record keeping, formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences.
undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and liaise with the senior physiotherapy staff and multi-disciplinary teams.Undertake supervision of less experienced staff.
Partake in evidence-based audit and research projects to further the team’s clinical practice within each rotation.
Qualifications/Experience:
BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy
Must have current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration.
Hold a full current driving licence with access to a car
Band 6
Evidence of postgraduate learning and development focusing on the assessment and treatment of patients experiencing a range of conditions
One Post-graduate accredited course completed in one of the following areas: musculoskeletal, neurology or respiratory which would be judged by the panel to meet the specification of this post.
Evidence experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Hours of Work:
Full time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
