MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a leading organisation in Qatar to source a Personnel Advisor to join their Human Resources Department. This is a new position within the shared services department in a large government institution that are working to deliver state of the art infrastructure and buildings that would meet the needs of the country well beyond the highly anticipated 2022 football World Cup.
Your role will involve assisting the relevant management in strategy development on strategy details based on the information/data gathered, analysed and based on leading practice. You will design effective and appropriate measures in addressing challenges within specific areas and applying relevant conceptual frameworks where applicable. You will also be required to organise data into report format and arrange for the preparation of graphic illustrations of research findings.
You will act as an internal consultant to the Personnel Section in addressing compensation and benefits, reward schemes, payroll administration, employee relations and in managing the implementation, development and maintenance of the HRMS database. You will also be providing reporting inputs that inform PWA HR strategies. You will identify business best practices for employee relations, compensation and benefits, and payroll administration across PWA. You will also manage the maintenance and upgrade of the HRMS in collaboration with Information Systems department as well as develop and implement processes and procedures for HRMS systems usage and provide user training to other HR staff. You will manage compensation and benefits, salary scales, yearly increments, and bonus calculations.
Your role will also require you to guide the staff in executing their respective responsibilities towards the achievement of the Departments’ goals and objectives as well as those of PWA. You will establish the performance plans for direct subordinates; and participate in the identification of training and development initiatives for all subordinates.
You will have a minimum of 20 years working experience out of which a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role. You must have a university degree in Business Administration or in a similar subject. You must also be skilful in relevant software applications.
