KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll preparation and administration

- Assist in all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner

- Assist in the processing of all statutory payroll returns to HMRC and ROI Revenue Commissioners.

- Assist in Gereral book keeping and credit control

 

Other

- Prepare reports, verbal or written as required by the Senior Financial Controller

- Assist in the preparation of supporting information for the annual audit

- Liaise with managers and customers in respect to queries or difficulties in projects

- Liaise with external auditors and revenue legislative bodies as required by the Senior Financial Controller

- Approving and submitting VAT and other Tax Returns in a timely manner

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Good knowledge of Excel

- Knowledge of taxation legislation in the UK and the Republic of Ireland

- Experience with SAGE 200

- At least 3 years experience in a commercial environment.
