MPA Recruitment are looking for a Stone Machine Operator to join our team and play a key role in the fabrication and processing of natural and engineered stone products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating stone-cutting, polishing, and shaping machinery while ensuring that all production goals, safety standards, and quality requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stone processing equipment.
• Monitor and control machine settings.
• Inspect raw stone materials for defects, damage, or irregularities before processing and ensure materials are properly loaded into the machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on stone machinery to ensure continued production efficiency and avoid downtime.
• Measure and cut stones according to specific design and production specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of production output, material usage, and any machine issues or maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Accurately setting up the cutting blades, stacking and palletizing cladding stone.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions promptly, with the assistance of supervisors when necessary.
• Clean and maintain the work area, ensuring that tools and machines are kept in safe working condition.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Essential Criteria:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality control.
• Previous experience as a Stone Machine Operator or in a similar role within the stone or construction industry is preferred.
