Job Role: Inquiry Programme Project Support Officer

The post holder will assist, under the delegated authority of the Review Programme Senior Project Manager, in the support of project management in regard tour client’s Review projects, with particular focus upon responding to the needs of Public Inquiries.

He/she will contribute to the development and delivery of the client’s annual management / business plan and will also be required to project manage initiatives across the various departments.

The post holder will work collaboratively with a wide range of key stakeholders including service users, carers, public representatives, voluntary sector and community sector organisations, our clients’ organisations, and other government departments

Location- Belfast

Hours of Work- 37.5 hours per week. Mon - Fri (9:00am -5:00 pm)

Salary- £16.04

What the role entails:

  • To develop plans to deliver on the client’s commitments on governance and safety Reviews
  • To deliver effective support on assigned projects and all associated work, within planned timescales, cost and quality parameters.
  • To ensure all key stakeholders are apprised of progress against agreed targets and milestones.
  • To organise and ensure support services for all project meetings, in particular for Project Steering Groups.
  • To identify and organise appropriate training and development opportunities for staff.
  • To develop a comprehensive approach to monitoring progress against objectives.
  • Ensure database contacts are regularly maintained.
  • To engage effectively with the senior officers across various organisations, voluntary, community and independent sector bodies, service users, families and carers to assist in delivering the projects.

Essential Experience:

A relevant University degree/professional qualification or equivalent

AND

2 years’ experience of co-ordinating Projects.

OR

Four years’ experience of coordinating projects within health and social care.
