MPA Recruitment has been appointed by one of the leading hospital and healthcare groups in the MENA region to source a Head Nurse in the Labour and Delivery room to lead their team. This is a world-class healthcare provider with a team of highly experienced experts across all their facilities.
As Head Nurse in the Labour and Delivery Room, you are responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision of day to day delivery room operational activities, to ensure all Nursing staff are providing optimal quality care within the scope of service of the department. The Head Nurse of the Delivery Room is responsible for ensuring that all staff are well trained and competent to perform their tasks / job in an efficient and safe way.
Your duties will include providing efficient clinical supervision and guidance to meet patient and family expectations; providing highly effective staff management and planning to ensure proper coverage as per the workload; ensuring the department has all the resources necessary to provide services against the quality indicators of the Labour and Delivery Room and ensuring compliance to JCIA / CBAHI Standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have at least 8 years’ relevant experience; the most recent 5 years’ experience should be at a senior nursing level; current national license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
