MPA Recruitment has been appointed by one of the leading hospital and healthcare groups in the MENA region to source a Head Nurse, ICU to lead their team. This is a world-class healthcare provider with a team of highly experienced experts across all their facilities.
As Head Nurse, you will guide and supervise day to day operational and administrative activities of ICU to ensure delivery of high quality of care, act as patient advocate, and ensure they are receiving the optimal Nursing care as per their needs. The ICU Head Nurse is also responsible to ensure that ICU Nursing staff are well trained and competent to perform their duties as indicated in their job description.
You will oversee the patient round to check the patient condition and ensure that they are receiving the expected care; participating in the daily doctor’s round and follow-up new orders / new care plans; supervising patient admission and transferring processes to ensure compliance to the approved policy. You will distribute daily staff assignments, monitor performance, ensure appropriate shift coverage, and provide coordinated care with the other disciplines in the ICU.
You will have at least 8 years’ relevant experience; the most recent 5 years’ experience should be at a senior nursing level.
