Job Title: General Administrative Assistant with Digital Learning Support

Job Summary:

MPA are recruiting for a General Administrative Assistant with Digital Learning Support for our client based in the Belfast area.

The GAA will support the Learning & Development Service with the technical creation of digital learning materials and resources across a wide range of development topics.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the administrative management team and will be responsible for assisting in the provision of all Administrative Services within the Social Work/Social Care Learning & Development Team. This may include the supervision and co-ordination of the administrative staff, with the GAA required to provide clear leadership and support to all staff within their area of responsibility.

Location: Belfast

Salary: £11.20 per hour

Hours of work: 37.5 Hours Per Week (Monday- Friday)

The main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Work collaboratively within the Learning & Development Team and support staff to create and develop digital learning resources such as interactive web-based resources (e.g. Page Tiger), video material, screencasts and infographics etc.

  • Working as part of a team to develop or provide support for the development of digital learning and take a creative approach to problem solving and offer a range of solutions to questions around design and delivery of technology enhanced learning.
  • Actively contribute to team projects and support colleagues in the delivery of online training and development of support materials.
  • Make use of effective systems for the uploading, deployment, and manipulation of video and other multi-media resources, both for internal educational use, and for external viewing.
  • Create original graphics/illustrations to enhance learning resources. Undertake system administration activities for the Learning & Development team’s digital learning platforms.
  • Support the development of accessible digital learning resources as required on platforms and applications including MS Teams, MS Forms, MS Sway, MS Streams etc.
  • Support the production of an annual trust wide learning and development
  • portfolio and training calendar.

Criteria:

4 GCSEs at Grades A-C / 9-4 to include English Language [excluding English Literature] and 2 years’

experience working in one of the

following areas: Learning and Development/Human Resources/Organisational Development/Digital Media/Digital communications support role.

OR

A relevant HNC/HND

Or

equivalent/Higher qualification [Communications Media, Marketing etc.]

AND

1 years’ experience working in one of the following areas: Learning and Development/Human

Resources/Organisational Development/Digital Media/Digital communications support role.

OR

3 years’ experience working in one of the following areas: Learning and Development/Human

Resources/Organisational Development/Digital Media/Digital communications support role.
