Job Description

MPA are looking for an experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Ballymena.

This is a vital role with direct customer interaction, where you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Keep warehouse and yard areas organised, assisting the maintenance team as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by loading pallets and totes.
• Operate a semi-automated bagging system and pack tote bags.
• Safely load and unload curtain-sided deliveries using a forklift.
• Load bulk vehicles and ensure bulk vehicles and trailers are cleaned.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, with rotating shift patterns every 3 weeks:
  • 06:00 - 15:00
  • 08:00 - 17:00
  • 10:00 - 19:00

Essential Criteria 

• Forklift experience with a current counterbalance licence and certificate 
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and basic computer literacy. Experience with computer-controlled equipment is a plus.
