The company’s headquarters are in Dublin but is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their finance department in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The job requires the candidate to travel from time to time. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will be working alongside the Back Office team. The role will involve a range of key finance activities of central importance to the operation and growth of the company.

Your role as a Financial Analyst will include:

  • Creating month end company and consolidated accounts
  • Involvement in the preparation of the year-end financial statements with the Financial Controller
  • Preparation of group reporting package and managing group queries
  • Tax compliance
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders including directors, management,  investors, banks, regulatory authorities and counterparties
  • Working with the Client Service department to prepare weekly and monthly reports in accordance with our contractual obligations.

You must be a professionally qualified Analyst seeking a first role in the industry or possibly with one to two years post qualification experience in a similar role. You will have experience with the development, optimisation and operation of process lead financial control environments. You will also have strength in I.T. system requirements, usage, interaction and development in a financial control and settlement context. Preference would be given to candidates who hold a knowledge of commodity trading or the financial services sector, and who are familiar or qualified in quality control methodologies such as ISO and six sigma.
