MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a highly successful business group in Doha to source a Facility Manager to join their team. This position is a key member of the senior management team and will have responsibility for the management of services and processes that support the core Facilities Management business within the group.
As a Facilities Manager, you may oversee one large building within the property portfolio or you may be in charge of a campus consisting of many buildings and extensive property. You will oversee custodial, security and cleaning staff; supervise the maintenance and repair of building / equipment; ensure lighting, heating AC and ventilation systems are operational; and supervise the upkeep of the facilities’ grounds and landscaping.
You will develop a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan; effectively allocate budget spend to reduce deferred maintenance; carry out Facility Condition Assessments of campus buildings in order to evaluate and document the level of deferred maintenance; and complete the annual capital renewal program within each budget cycle. You will also oversee the development of environmentally effective energy programs.
You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Facilities Management discipline and will have experience in a senior Facility Management role. You will have extensive experience (15 years) within an International Facility Management Business; previous GCC experience will be a plus. You will have excellent leadership, communication, time management and project management skills. You should be fluent in both English and Arabic.
