MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a leading business in Derry / Donegal to source an Estimator to join their team. This is a significant organisation which is a true success story on the North West and is continuing to grow; this is a new role within the team representing this ongoing investment in the office.
You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed material take-offs and quotations for large scale prestigious electrical switchgear and power distribution projects in diverse applications throughout UK and overseas; Preparation of equipment layout drawings.
You will liaise with Salesmen, Contractors, Consulting Engineers and end-users to develop and prepare comprehensive quotation; Setting up of project folders and issuing of project details for the Engineers, as well as other associated duties commensurate with the role.
You will have 2 years minimum exposure in a Sales / Quotation support role ideally within a Manufacturing/Engineering setting with experience gained in liaison with Contractors or Consulting Engineers.
Desirable Criteria is a related HND/Degree in Engineering/Business coupled with 1 year’s exposure in a Sales / Quotations support role, ideally within a Manufacturing/Engineering setting with experience gained in liaison with Contractors or Consulting Engineers.
